I recently installed a supertrapp exhaust on my LS 650 (3,400 mi), and Iam very happy with the sound and performance change. The price (around 220 dollars US) was definately worth it. The exhaust gasket has to be replaced ($20) when installing.
I installed all of the disks that came with the kit- I believe it was eight. The bike has been transformed from a sewing machine into a true "thumper". The added power whisch is especially noticeable when passing at 60+ m.p.h. is great.
NOTE- the pipe will blue, to reduce and even out this unavoidable effect thoroughly clean the entire exhaust system (header and slipon) before initial start up.
